Our Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1. “Mountain Drop-offs” shall refer to the company SAS Mountain Drop-offs (480 130 699 RCS Annecy).
1.2. “Client” shall be the person that makes the booking for themselves or on behalf of other persons.
1.3. “Party” shall refer to all persons travelling under one single booking.
1.4. “Passenger” shall refer to a person within a party.
1.5. “Operator” shall refer to an enterprise that provides transport services via the use of their own vehicles.
2. Making a Booking
2.1. The client can make a booking for a transfer online at www.mountaindropoffs.com at any time before 16:00 CET/CET the day before the date of transfer. Any bookings made after this time must be completed by the client by telephone.
2.2. The client is responsible for the information provided when making a booking.
2.3. The client must provide a full and valid address for pick-up/drop-off in the resort. Any changes to this address must be provided in writing. If no address is provided, or the address provided is invalid, the client will be picked up/dropped off at a central point in the resort (such as the Tourist Office or train station).
2.4. Where the client has provided an incorrect date or time in the transfer booking, the client must notify Mountain Drop-offs immediately in writing via email.
2.5. Where the transfer booking has already been confirmed by Mountain Drop-offs, changes to the date or time of the booking may result in a cancellation of the original booking, and the Mountain Drop-offs cancellation policy (see paragraph 4 below) will apply.
2.6. The client accepts these booking conditions on behalf of each member of the party.
2.7. When making a telephone booking, the client accepts that the booking will be governed by the terms and conditions present on the Mountain Drop-offs website at the time of booking.
2.8. Should more passengers present themselves for transfer than noted on the booking, it may not be possible to carry the extra passenger(s). The extra passenger(s) will have to make their own way to their destination and Mountain Drop-offs will accept no responsibility or liability for said extra passenger(s).
2.9. A seat must be booked for all children aged 10 or under. Baby seats and booster seats are supplied free of charge upon request at the time of booking, subject to availability.
Rear-facing baby seat, group 0: up to 13kg (29lbs), approx. age range: birth to 12-15 months.
Front-facing child seat, group 1/2/3: from 9-25kg (20-40lbs), approx. age range: 9 months – 4 years.
Booster cushion, group 3/4: from 22-36kg (48-79lbs), approx. age range: 6 – 11/12 years.
2.10. Mountain Drop-offs will endeavour to honour special requirement requests, such as the provision of child restraint seats, but are not contractually obliged to do so.
3. Payment and Pricing
3.1. Full acceptance of Mountain Drop-offs’ price for the service requested is assumed at the time of booking.
3.2. Where the client has provided an email address at the time of booking, Mountain Drop-offs will produce written confirmation by email of the details regarding the booking.
3.3. All prices published on the website, in print, quoted over the phone, or via email by a Mountain Drop-offs representative or employee, are subject to Mountain Drop-offs’ and its partners’ terms and conditions.
3.4. The price paid by a Mountain Drop-offs client when booking an airport transfer is subject to change without notice.
3.4.1. If there are any fare changes necessary after the booking has been made, Mountain Drop-offs will produce written confirmation of these changes by email (if the client has provided an email address) or by telephone.
3.4.2. If the client does not want to accept the fare change, Mountain Drop-offs will cancel the booking free of charge and refund any monies paid by the client.
3.5. Mountain Drop-offs reserves the right to increase prices by adding a fuel surcharge in accordance with fuel price rises.
4. Cancellation Charges and Fees
4.1. When a client cancels a confirmed booking, Mountain Drop-offs will charge a 20€ per transfer administration fee to cover the administration and banking costs.
4.2. Mountain Drop-offs reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee corresponding to a percentage of the total booking cost.
4.2.1. Super Saver shared transfer bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. The cancellation fee is 100% of the total Super Saver booking cost.
4.2.2. Flexi Shared transfer bookings are refundable if the cancellation is received in writing by our office more than 7 days prior to the transfer date. After this time, the cancellation fee is 100% of the total booking cost.
4.2.3. Private & VIP transfers are refundable if the cancellation is received in writing more than 7 days prior to the transfer date. After this time, the cancellation fee is 100% of the total booking cost.
4.3. Upon request, Mountain Drop-offs will issue a statement of cancellation showing amounts paid by the client, which the client may present to their insurer.
4.4. When a client has a confirmed booking with Mountain Drop-offs and does not utilise the service, Mountain Drop-offs reserves the right to recover payment of the total booking cost.
5. Luggage
5.1. All luggage must be clearly labelled with the owner’s name and destination address.
5.2. Passengers are limited to two items of luggage (one usual holiday luggage bag and a small handbag/rucksack), or a ski/snowboard bag and small handbag/rucksack. The maximum number of skis on a group booking/private transfer cannot exceed 5 pairs or 3 snowboards for a maximum of 8 passengers. Otherwise, another vehicle will need to be purchased.
5.3. Any excess luggage must be declared at the time of booking. In the event of excess luggage, Mountain Drop-offs reserves the right to charge 40€ per item or refuse transport for those items.
5.4. Clients must inform Mountain Drop-offs at the time of booking of the number of bikes to be transported, with a charge of 40€ per bike in line with excess baggage fees.
5.4.1. Where a group has more than 2 bikes, a private transfer must be reserved.
5.4.2. Bikes must be presented for carriage in an appropriate box or bag of a reasonable size (maximum 1m x 1.3m). Bikes not in bags or boxes are not accepted.
5.5. Golf clubs are transported at a surcharge of 40€ per set. Clients must inform Mountain Drop-offs of the number of sets at the time of booking; limited to one set per passenger, with a maximum of 3 sets per vehicle.
5.6. Mountain Drop-offs takes all reasonable care in loading luggage but accepts no responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit. Clients should check their travel insurance policy.
5.7. Luggage lost by the airline is covered in paragraph 6 below.
5.8. Animals are not permitted in shared transfers (except guide dogs for the blind).
5.8.1. On private transfers, prior written approval is required for animals. Guide dogs are allowed without prior approval.
6. Delays at the Airport
6.1. Clients must keep Mountain Drop-offs informed of any delays due to lost luggage.
6.2. If the client’s flight is delayed or missed, and they will not arrive in time for their scheduled transfer, no refund will be provided.
6.3. In the event of a significant delay caused by lost luggage, Mountain Drop-offs may cancel the original transfer and reschedule a new transfer, with additional charges applying.
6.4. If Mountain Drop-offs is unable to accommodate the new arrival time following a delay, the client will be required to make alternative arrangements and no refund will be given.
6.5. For private or VIP transfers, if the flight is delayed up to 60 minutes, there will be no additional charge. After 60 minutes, a waiting charge of 30€ per additional hour applies.
7. In-resort Departures
7.1. Mountain Drop-offs reserves the right to change pick-up times and will inform the lead passenger (or their resort representative) via phone or SMS.
7.2. Departures are scheduled to arrive at the airport at least one hour before flight departure time.
8. Carriage of Children and Minors
8.1. A booking must be purchased for all infants and children regardless of age.
8.2. EU regulations state children under the height of 1.35m must travel in an appropriate child restraint.
8.3. It is the responsibility of the client to have the appropriate seat for their children. Parents are advised to provide their own child seats. Mountain Drop-offs will provide child seats free of charge when requested at the time of booking (subject to availability).
8.4. Parents are responsible for the correct fitting of child restraint seats in the vehicles.
8.5. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to travel in the front seats of any vehicle.
8.6. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to travel without a parent or guardian.
8.7. Minors between the ages of 16 and 18 assume full responsibility for their use of seat belts.
8.8. Parents, guardians, or friends over 18 years old are responsible for the conduct of minors in the Mountain Drop-offs vehicles and will be held responsible for any damage caused.
9. Eating, Drinking, Smoking
9.1. Smoking, and the consumption of food and beverages, is forbidden in Mountain Drop-offs vehicles.
9.2. The consumption of alcohol in vehicles is prohibited by law.
9.3. Mountain Drop-offs reserves the right to refuse to carry any person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat or nuisance to the driver or other passengers.
10. Damage and Soiling of the Vehicles
10.1. Passengers who soil the interior of a vehicle are liable to an on-the-spot fine of 250€ for valet cleaning.
10.2. Any damage caused to a vehicle must be paid for immediately. Mountain Drop-offs reserves the right to charge the credit card used for the booking.
11. Failure to Fulfil Confirmed Bookings
11.1. If Mountain Drop-offs fails to provide a confirmed service due to an inability to contact the client, Mountain Drop-offs will not be held responsible for any losses incurred.
11.2. Mountain Drop-offs will use reasonable means to ensure that the vehicle arrives on time and reaches its destination on time.
11.3. Mountain Drop-offs will not incur any liability for delays due to circumstances beyond its control, such as weather conditions, accidents, or industrial action.
11.4. In the event of road or tunnel closures, alternative routes may incur additional charges. If no agreement can be reached on the supplement, Mountain Drop-offs will transport passengers to the point where the normal route is blocked.
12. Privacy
12.1. Mountain Drop-offs works with a number of partners and may share your email address and telephone number with them.
12.2. From time to time, Mountain Drop-offs may contact you via email regarding special offers.
12.3. If you do not wish to be contacted about special offers, inform Mountain Drop-offs in writing by email or fax.
13. Complaints and Disputes
13.1. Any complaints or service issues should be addressed to Mountain Drop-offs via email. Mountain Drop-offs will endeavour to resolve all service issues and respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt.
13.2. Any unresolved disputes shall be referred to a mediator, or if necessary, to formal litigation through the French courts.
14. Agents and Partners
14.1. Where Mountain Drop-offs books transport for clients on services provided by other operators, Mountain Drop-offs acts as a booking agent, and the operator’s conditions of carriage apply.
14.2. Mountain Drop-offs’ liability is confined to travel on its own services.
14.3. Some corporate partners may choose to be invoiced. Accounts must be settled as per the terms stated on the invoice.
15. Changes to Contractual Terms
15.1. Mountain Drop-offs may alter these terms and conditions from time to time. The terms governing the purchase of an airport transfer will be those in place at the time the booking is paid for.
16. Applicable Law
16.1. Mountain Drop-offs’ Terms and Conditions are governed by French Law.
17. Pricing Conditions
17.1. From 42.50€ per person for travel between Geneva Airport and the Chamonix Valley on a shared transfer between 07:00 and 19:35.
17.2. A total of five passengers is required for the vehicle to operate, so your reservation request may not be confirmed within the usual 24 hours during low seasons.
17.3. We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm the status of your reservation request and how many additional passengers are still required for the shared transfer to operate.
17.4. Payment is not taken until we confirm that we can accommodate the reservation request on a shared transfer.
17.5. If we cannot confirm your request for a shared transfer, you are entitled to cancel a reservation request at any time without any charge.
17.6. Flight arrivals are grouped within one hour of each other where possible.
17.7. Pick-ups from the valley will be 3 – 5 hours before flight departures (unless otherwise agreed).
17.8. Private transfers for travel between Geneva Airport and the Chamonix Valley are available throughout the inter-season at times to suit your travel plans.
17.9. Geneva Airport to Les Portes du Soleil (Avoriaz, Morzine, les Gets) requires a minimum of 2 passengers for a shared transfer. Arrivals are grouped within 2 hours between flight times in the summer seasons.
17.10. Courmayeur – all transfers using the Mont Blanc Tunnel will be subject to a charge if the driver’s waiting time exceeds 1 hour on either the French or Italian side.
Summary of Conditions for Super Saver Fare
- Winter season shared transfers are available from mid-December to mid-April, and summer season from mid-June to mid-September.
- If one of your transfers falls outside of these times, a private tariff may apply.
- Super Saver Transfers are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Shared transfers are grouped with other flight arrivals of a maximum of 1 hour (generally kept to 45 minutes).
- Additional charges may apply for any subsequent changes to a confirmed booking.
- General terms and conditions still apply.
- Bookings must be paid for at the time of reservation.
- The client accepts Mountain Drop-Offs’ terms & conditions.
Promo Code Terms and Conditions
1. Promotional codes are only available for high season travel for reservations made online at www.mountaindropoffs.com. The relevant promotional code must be entered in the Promo Code box on the first page of the online reservation form for the discount to be applied.
2. If you fail to enter the relevant promotional code in the Promo Code box at the time of reservation, you will not be eligible for the discount.
3. Mountain Drop-offs’ standard terms and conditions, available at www.mountaindropoffs.com/en/terms-and-conditions/terms-conditions, continue to apply to all reservations made using promotional codes.

This information helps us understand customer interests and helps us improve our website.
