Best for traditional Savoyarde fayre:
Sometimes, after a hard day’s skiing or hiking you need some comfort food and in Chamonix, that comes in the form of Savoyard food such as cured meats and any form of melted cheese!

Best cheap eats:
The best value meals in Chamonix are at lunchtime. Look out for the daily lunch menus, which often include starter, main and dessert for a very fair price.
